Management of heritage
The foundation is committed to the conservation in optimum conditions of its historical heritage consisting, among others, in restoring buildings of historical heritage of Cortijo de las Peñas de Béjar where the file is located in the ducal house. The file has librarians and documentary collections of several centuries old that are in constant process of restoration and conservation.
Also belong to the historical heritage cellars dating from 1767, the Duke of Rausenbach Bodegas, which currently are the long family winemaking tradition whose first documentary evidence dates back to 1334.
The winery breeding a limited game of vintage wines that have traditionally been reserved for family consumption itself. These oenological jewels are made from centuries-old hearths in optimal conditions in the Cárcavo of Peñas de Béjar.
